Aussie Optimism, that's me!

« on: February 05, 2010, 04:30:26 AM »

You may have seen me around here before. I'm a moderator with Thyme 2 Sim and when we were showcasing other's work I would always swing by here and grab a couple of your latest updates to showcase. Since we are not doing that anymore thought I'd join up and continue to benefit from your great creators.

I have 2 children, well men who are now married and have just become a grandma for the first time. My son and his wife had a gorgeous little girl they named Jacinta Grace. I'm as clucky as I was with my own kids but even more so now we can just enjoy them.

I'm a teacher of primary students (elementary, I think you call it, 7,8,9 years olds this year) I love the kids and we do lots of fun learning as I believe learning needs to be fun, but I am looking forward to retiring. I have so many other things I want to do.

I have completed one novel and half-way through another. They are yet to be published but even if I get 1,000 rejections I'm not going to give up.

I love scrapbooking, crosstitch, want to volunteer in animal rescue, enjoy my grandchildren, knitting, draw pet portraits when I'm not teaching, crocheting and playing computer games, naturally Sims 3, but I love RPG's like Dragon Age, The Witcher, Neverwinter Nights, etc.

Glad to be here,
regards, Jen love

What a busy life you lead Jen, teacher, crafter, novelist and gamer..   Huh?

Sounds like I could spend many hours chatting to you, about crafts, RPG's and all things Simmish.. snickers

Not at the moment though, now is the time to say "Welcome to Sims Crossing" I really hope you will enter into the forum,

and show us some of the cool things you have been doing, RL as well as Sim stuff..

But for now, I will say goodbye.. catch you later I hope..

Welcome Jen!

I played neverwinter nights also. Nice game.   One of my other hobby's that's similar to yours is crossstitching and offcourse playing sims.

Enjoy your grandchildren and all the others. They are all adorable.

See you later
